Movement on the James Bond front has finally arrived, with esteemed casting agent Nina Gold joining producers and director Denis Villeneuve to find the next 007. Gold, known for her work on Game of Thrones, The Crown, and Star Wars, will lead the search to replace Daniel Craig.
Callum Turner, 35, has emerged as a frontrunner after reports surfaced six months ago that he was 'blabbing all over town' about landing the role. The British actor, known for The Capture and Emma, is seen as a feasible choice due to his availability for a multi-year franchise, with his fiancée Dua Lipa reportedly set to record the Bond theme.
Jacob Elordi, 28, was also considered a 'shoo-in' after meeting with Villeneuve and Amazon executives, but his Australian background and busy schedule may hinder his chances. Harris Dickinson, 29, has been linked to the role following strong performances in Triangle of Sadness and Babygirl, and is set to audition soon.
Jack Lowden, 35, lacks star power but has support from his wife, actress Saoirse Ronan, who believes he would make a superb Bond. Lowden's role in Slow Horses, a show cast by Gold, showcases his charisma. Louis Partridge, 23, is considered too young for the role, despite reports of a younger 007 being sought.
