ITV is set to premiere The Rainmaker, a new legal thriller based on John Grisham's best-selling novel, starting September 4. The series, starring John Slattery and Milo Callaghan, is expected to appeal to fans of The Split.

The show follows Rudy Baylor, a recent law school graduate who uncovers a mystery and clashes with more experienced lawyers. The 10-episode drama will air weekly on ITV1 with a double bill at 9pm, and the full season will be available on ITVX immediately.

Milo Callaghan plays Rudy, while John Slattery portrays Leo F. Drummond, a managing partner at the Tinley Britt law firm.
