ITV is set to air a new legal drama based on John Grisham's best-selling 1995 novel The Rainmaker. The 10-episode series, starring Milo Callaghan from Rivals, will premiere on ITV1 with a double bill at 9pm on September 4, and the full season will be available to stream on ITVX from that date.

Plot and cast
The series follows Rudy Baylor, a recent law school graduate, as he becomes embroiled in a legal battle against more experienced lawyers after stumbling upon a mystery. The cast includes John Slattery as Leo F Drummond, a managing partner at the distinguished Tinley Britt law firm, and Madison Iseman as Sarah Plankmore, a first-year associate at Tinley Britt who is in a relationship with Rudy.
The synopsis reads: "Rudy Baylor, who is fresh out of law school, goes head-to-head with courtroom lion Leo Drummond as well as his law school girlfriend, Sarah. Rudy, along with his boss, Bruiser, and her dishevelled paralegal, Deck, uncover two connected conspiracies surrounding the mysterious death of their client's son."
