Dame Joan Collins and Elizabeth Hurley reunited on the red carpet for the UK premiere of the film 'A Murder Between Friends' in London. The 93-year-old actress, famous for her role as Alexis Carrington in the 1980s soap 'Dynasty', stars in the whodunnit alongside 'EastEnders' actor Toby-Alexander Smith and 'Days of Our Lives' star Nadia Bjorlin.
The two actresses previously played mother and daughter in the E! soap opera 'The Royals', which ran for four series from 2015 to 2018. For the premiere, Dame Joan wore a black mid-length dress with gold embellishment, while Hurley donned an orange bodycon maxi dress with a gold clutch and sunglasses. They were joined by Hurley's son, Damian, who wore a light green suit.
The film follows a true-crime TV star, played by Dame Joan, who is tasked with solving a murder mystery at her country estate. The film is co-directed by 'General Hospital' star Jacob Young and US actor Trent Garrett.
Dame Joan is also set to star in the upcoming biopic 'My Duchess', portraying Wallis Simpson, the American socialite for whom Edward VIII abdicated the throne. Despite her Hollywood status, she recently recounted a mishap at a supermarket where a man bumped into her with a trolley, leading her to comment on the decline of politeness in Britain.
