The future of Clarkson's Farm is in question after Jeremy Clarkson revealed his cancer diagnosis, adding to the health struggles that have already affected the show's cast.
Jeremy Clarkson's Cancer Announcement
In the latest season of Clarkson's Farm, Jeremy Clarkson shared his shock cancer diagnosis, revealing he had been diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer in May. He told farm manager Kaleb Cooper that 10 percent of his prostate had been removed via ultrasound, where the cancer was located. In the season finale, Clarkson addressed viewers from his hospital bed, warning of complications and saying, "If this is all successful, I'll see you for season six, and if it isn't, I won't."
Emotional Warning to Fans
On Instagram, an emotional Clarkson warned fans that the final two episodes would be a "really, really difficult watch." He explained that the show usually aims to be bucolic and cheerful, but these episodes were different.
Health Struggles Among Cast Members
Clarkson is not the first cast member to face health issues. In 2024, farmhand Gerald Cooper revealed his prostate cancer diagnosis but is now cancer-free. In June 2025, castmate Alan Townsend, known as Alan the Builder, underwent a quadruple bypass heart surgery, which he described as "very painful." Clarkson himself had a heart procedure in October 2024 after being days away from a heart attack.
Future of the Show
Prime Video has not yet officially recommissioned the show, though planning documents suggest season six is in the works for summer 2027. Clarkson has expressed enthusiasm for continuing, saying he has good ideas for season six. However, the show's future remains uncertain amid these health challenges.
