Emmerdale actor Danny Miller has hinted that he could appear on Strictly Come Dancing, revealing that producers are 'talking about the possibilities'. The star, known for playing Aaron Dingle, made the comments during an appearance on the Live, Laugh, Luke Podcast with host Luke Hamnett.
During the podcast, Miller discussed his time on The Celebrity Apprentice, explaining that ITV soap stars previously had limited options for appearing on rival channel programmes. He asked the BBC if he could take part in the show, and they agreed after ITV's 'top dog' approved it, with Miller being used as a 'guinea pig' to see if the collaboration works.
Strictly Come Dancing hints
When asked if he could ever do Strictly, Miller responded: 'I believe they are talking about the possibilities of that.' However, fellow guest and Hollyoaks star Brooke Vincent quickly pointed out a potential problem, saying: 'You can't dance.' Miller conceded: 'Correct.'
Miller is not the only Emmerdale star linked to the show. Lawrence Robb, who plays Mackenzie Boyd, has already been confirmed for the 2026 series. The announcement was made on Thursday 6 August via the official Strictly social media channels.

Robb, who has been in Emmerdale for six years, has been involved in many dramatic storylines, including affairs, kidnap, and murder. His previous TV and stage credits include I Hate Suzie, Legally Blonde The Musical, and Mojo in the West End.
Speaking about his upcoming debut, Robb said: 'I don't know who's more excited about this, me or my Mother. I can't quite believe that I am going to be getting my dancing shoes on this September on one of my favourite shows of all time! It's a dream come true, and I can't wait to bring my all to ballroom. Wish me luck, and any advice is very welcome – trust me I'll need it!'
