The official trailer for Sky's upcoming legal drama War has been released, showcasing a fierce clash between Dominic West and Sienna Miller in what is described as "the biggest divorce trial in British history."
The eight-part series, created by the minds behind Lupin and Hijack, centers on the "headline-grabbing" divorce between tech entrepreneur Morgan Henderson (Dominic West) and international film star Carla Duval (Sienna Miller). Their legal battle unfolds within the "high-stakes world of two of London's most prestigious rival law firms," where lawyers will stop at nothing to secure victory for their clients.
Premiere date and early renewal
War is set to debut on Friday, October 3, on Sky and its streaming service NOW. The show has already received a two-series order, with production on the second season currently underway.
The series also explores the intense competition between "London's most powerful lawyers," represented by the firms Cathcarts & Sons and Taylor & Byrne.
Cast and characters
Nina Sosanya plays Beatrice "Queen Bea" Ubosi, while Pip Torrens takes on the role of John Smallwood from Cathcarts & Sons. Their "fierce rivals" at Taylor & Byrne are portrayed by Phoebe Fox as Serena Byrne and James McArdle as Nicholas Taylor.
Archie Renaux stars as ambitious young lawyer Jonathan "Johnny" Warren, who quickly learns that it's a ruthless world where "winning is everything."
