One Battle After Another: How to Watch Paul Thomas Anderson’s Oscar-Winning Film

Paul Thomas Anderson’s latest film, One Battle After Another, has swept the 2026 Academy Awards, winning six Oscars including Best Picture and Best Director. The film, which marks Anderson’s first collaboration with Leonardo DiCaprio, has been hailed as a masterpiece, earning a 97 per cent score on Rotten Tomatoes.

The film is now available to stream at home. It can be rented on Apple TV, Sky Store and Prime Video for £4.99, or purchased for £9.99. For NOW subscribers, the film will be available on the platform and Sky Cinema from Thursday 26 March. Cinemas may also add extra screenings following its Oscar success.

Loosely based on Thomas Pynchon’s novel Vineland, Anderson updates the setting from the 1980s to the modern day. The story follows Bob Ferguson (DiCaprio), a paranoid single father and former revolutionary, who must rediscover his spirit when his old nemesis returns to kidnap his daughter, Willa.
