Zoe Ball reunited with her ex-husband Norman Cook and their daughter Nelly, who served as a bridesmaid, at a friend's wedding over the weekend. The former Radio 2 star, 55, maintains a close friendship with Norman, also known as Fatboy Slim, as they co-parent their children Woody, 25, and Nelly, 16.
Wedding Celebration
On Monday, Zoe shared a montage of clips and photos on Instagram from the wedding of her PR guru friend. For the occasion, she looked stunning in a cream dress with a ruffle slit, while Norman appeared dapper in a grey suit. Their daughter Nelly wore a white maxi dress adorned with a flower crown. The bride captivated in a strapless gown at Parnham Park in Dorset.
In her post, Zoe wrote: 'Congratulations Eva & James & Willow. We love you so much. The most perfect wedding celebration for our dear magic friends. Groomsmen, Bridesmaids & a few close folk to celebrate the Wedding.'
Family Dynamics
Last week, Zoe revealed that her daughter has moved in with her ex-husband, noting her house is now 'so quiet.' On the Dig It podcast, she explained: 'Mine's so quiet, it's like ugh! It's less and less because Nel is based more at her dad's now... All of her CSI revision notes are on the wall at her dad's.' She added that Norman lives nearby, making it easy for Nelly to visit. Woody moved to Bristol last year, while his parents remain in Brighton.
Relationship Advice
Zoe also discussed the challenges of introducing new partners to her family. She is currently dating BAFTA-winning production designer Mathieu Weekes, 49. On her podcast, she admitted to past mistakes: 'In the past I've rushed that by welcoming someone in and being like 'here's my kids. Here's my life.' It's all a bit much for me and the kids.' She advised taking things slowly and respecting existing family relationships.
Before Mathieu, Zoe's last public relationship was with Michael Reed, which ended in 2023. She previously dated cameraman Billy Yates, who died by suicide in 2017. Zoe and Norman married in 1999 after meeting in Ibiza in 1997 and were together for 17 years.
