Zendaya and Tom Holland’s wedding party at Belvoir Castle

Zendaya and Tom Holland are reportedly planning an ‘epic’ wedding party at Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire, according to the Daily Mail. The couple, who have been rumoured to have secretly married earlier this year, are said to be throwing the bash at the stately home, which stands on the site of a castle built in 1066 after the Norman Conquest.

Secret wedding confirmed

The couple’s marriage became an open secret after Holland confirmed it in an interview with Esquire earlier this year. He also revealed that his grandmother had fallen for AI-generated images of their Lake Como nuptials, thinking she hadn't been invited. ‘No, because they were all there. That’s all you’ll get on that,’ Holland said when asked if other family members were confused.

Belvoir Castle details

Belvoir Castle is owned by the Manners family, headed by David Manners, 11th Duke of Rutland. It is open to the public and available for private hire. A source mentioned a slight hitch involving ticks after a person connected to the castle picked up one of the Lyme-disease-causing insects from the long grass. The source said this ‘set the cat among the pigeons’, adding: ‘Tom and Zendaya have since been insistent that no guests should be allowed near that section of the grounds, lest any of the Hollywood A-listers also be subjected to a tick bite.’

Party plans

As for the party, the source described it as ‘massive’ and even used the word ‘epic’, noting: ‘They were perusing the grounds recently, pointing out where they wanted the grand piano and other tents.’ Metro has contacted representatives for Zendaya and Tom Holland for comment.
