Stacey Solomon has finally addressed speculation surrounding her marriage to Joe Swash, dismissing rumours of a rocky patch as unfounded. The TV star, 34, spoke out on the Sort Your Life Out Unpacked podcast, saying: 'Who cares if the whole world is like: "Oh, they’re on the brink of divorce"? Being in the public eye I think creates certain pressures, but not on our relationship because half the time what they’re saying — if we know it’s not true, who cares?'
Solomon, who met Swash on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in 2010 and began their relationship in 2016, married the former EastEnders actor in 2022. The couple live at Pickle Cottage in Essex with their children Rex, seven, Rose, four, and Belle, two, alongside Solomon's older sons Zachary, 18, and Leighton, 13, and Swash's son Harry, 18, from previous relationships.
Over the weekend, the couple put on a united front at a pool party for Rex's seventh birthday at their home. Solomon shared images online showing inflatables shaped like fruits, unicorns, and flamingos. The celebration came amid reports that the pair had hit a 'rocky patch' and shock claims they were never officially married, which Solomon has now dismissed.
Meanwhile, Zachary Solomon, Stacey's eldest son, made his Instagram debut at 18, marking a new chapter for the family. Solomon previously expressed pride in her son's milestone, though the focus remains on her relationship with Swash. 'Sometimes I fancy the pants off him and can’t wait to come home to see him. Sometimes I’m like: "Get out of my stratosphere – stay away from me." I think we’re just like any other couple,' she added on the podcast.
