Young Scotland Fan Wows Miami with Moonwalk Before Brazil Match
Young Scot Moonwalks in Miami Streets Before Brazil Clash

An 11-year-old Scotland fan from Irvine, Ayrshire, has become an internet sensation after wowing crowds in Miami with his Michael Jackson-inspired moonwalk. Lochlan McKenzie Bowie, who flew to the US with his dad Iain to watch Scotland face Brazil in the World Cup, transformed Ocean Drive into his personal stage.

Impromptu Performance on Ocean Drive

Dressed in a Scotland strip, Lochlan danced to 'Smooth Criminal' and other Jackson hits, including 'Bad', drawing cheers from both Scotland and Brazil fans. A fellow young Tartan Army member later joined him. The performance was captured on video and shared widely on social media.

Lochlan's mum, Marianne, told the Record: "Lochlan has been singing and dancing since he was a baby, roughly two years old. Everyone is loving his dance moves in Miami. He seems to be pulling in the crowds and hyping them up. He’s been such a hit and had a few interviews over there."

Social Media Reaction

Viewers online were equally impressed. One commenter wrote: "Wee Mick Jackson," while another said: "Oan yersel, son." A third added: "The best moonwalker in town," and another remarked: "Brilliant, just adds to the atmosphere." A fifth fan noted: "Living his best life."

Scotland's World Cup Hopes

The performance came ahead of Scotland's crucial match against Brazil at the Hard Rock Stadium on Wednesday night. A win would catapult Scotland to the next round for the first time ever. Despite a 1-0 loss to Morocco in Boston, Scotland still has a chance to advance, with the eight best third-placed teams progressing to the round of 32. Tens of thousands of Scotland fans are in Florida to support the team.
