Will Best joins Strictly and Picture Slam, says he's not aiming to win
Will Best on Strictly and Picture Slam: 'Not here to win'

Radio presenter Will Best, 41, has been confirmed as the sixth celebrity to join the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing, and he will also appear on the BBC game show Picture Slam hosted by Alan Carr. Best, known for hosting ITV's revival of Big Brother alongside AJ Odudu, expressed excitement about his double BBC stint but admitted he is not focused on winning.

Strictly Come Dancing line-up grows

The BBC has announced that viewers can expect to see Lacey Turner, Dani Dyer, Delta Goodrem, Chris Appleton, and Cach Mercer taking to the dancefloor alongside Best. Commenting on his participation, Best said: 'I can't quite believe it… I'm doing Strictly! What an absolute dream. Albeit a pretty terrifying one. I've been lucky to do lots of live telly before, but absolutely nothing like this.' He added: 'I have no idea if I can actually dance, but bring on the sequins, bring on the quicksteps, bring on the dance floor! I'm going to try to enjoy every minute of it.'

Picture Slam celebrity specials

Best will also star in celebrity specials of Picture Slam, a game show that first aired in 2023. This marks the first time celebrity guests have played, with two celebrity specials and a Christmas special scheduled for later this year. Best will appear alongside Fleur East, a former presenter of Strictly's It Takes Two. When asked about joining the show, Best told the BBC: 'Really excited, it's a great show, and I do watch it. It blows my mind how good the contestants are. But I'm here to have fun. I'm not here to try and win, I am here to have a good time. I am doing it with my mate Fleur East, which is great. So, we will have a laugh.'
