Whitney Leavitt has announced her departure from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives during her final performance in Chicago on Broadway on Sunday. The reality star, who joined the Hulu series following a group of Mormon momfluencers embroiled in a swinging sex scandal, confirmed her exit through representatives.
Leavitt, 32, has since pursued other ventures, including competing on Dancing With The Stars, where she finished as a semi-finalist last year, and making her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in Chicago. She is also set to star in the holiday rom-com All For Love, which she is executive producing, playing a podcaster who falls for a rugged renovator.
Her exit comes amid ongoing drama involving co-stars Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen, who were granted mutual protective orders in a Utah court last week. The orders require them to stay at least 100 feet apart and prohibit contact, following allegations of domestic violence.
Paul was charged with aggravated assault after a leaked video showed her allegedly assaulting Mortensen in 2023. She pleaded guilty to an assault charge, which will be reduced to a misdemeanour if she completes probation. The incident led to ABC shelving an already-filmed season of The Bachelorette featuring Paul, and Hulu pausing production of SLOMW, which has since resumed.
