Jack Whitehall's mother Hilary was thrown into a last-minute panic after the comedian gave her the wrong information about his upcoming wedding dress code. The 37-year-old is set to marry model Roxy Horner this weekend, with guests including James Corden and Jamie Redknapp reportedly on the VIP list.
Hilary told the Daily Mail that when she asked her son about the dress code several weeks ago, he provided incorrect details. She subsequently bought a dress, only to discover the wedding invitation specified a completely different code. Jack's response was a casual apology: 'Sorry about that, Mumsy.'
The couple, who have been dating since 2020 and share a daughter named Elsie, have described their upcoming nuptials as 'Downton Abbey meets EastEnders.' Meanwhile, the hen party for Roxy was a lavish affair, including a private dance lesson from former Strictly Come Dancing professional Luba Mushtuk and a lap dance from a Magic Mike stripper at the Hippodrome casino.
Jack's stag do was equally eventful, featuring a six-hour pub crawl through Soho, a visit to risqué cabaret venue The Box, and a round of mini-golf at Swingers. The group, which also included Lawrence Dallaglio, was seen passing a sex shop during the festivities.
