The Disturbing Case of Taylor Parker
Taylor Parker is currently on death row after being convicted of capital murder in 2022. She appealed the conviction but was denied a new trial in 2025. Parker murdered her pregnant friend Reagan Simmons-Hancock in 2020 and removed the unborn baby girl Braxlynn from her womb. She then took the deceased infant with her but was quickly pulled over by a State Trooper and arrested. Parker confessed to faking her pregnancy and removing the baby to claim the child as her own. She left Simmons-Hancock's three-year-old daughter alone with her dying mother as she fled the scene.
The Fake Pregnancy Scheme
As part of her elaborate fake pregnancy scheme, Parker wore a pillow under her clothes and faked ultrasounds. She even threw a gender-reveal party and posted about it online. Parker brutally murdered Simmons-Hancock after previously befriending her with the aim to take her baby, according to reports. Tragically, Simmons-Hancock had hired Parker to take her engagement photos and later her wedding pictures.
