Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews appear to have conflicting views about their family future, following the recent announcement of their fourth pregnancy. The couple, who are already parents to three children, seem divided over the possibility of a fifth child.
Spencer Hints at Fifth Baby
The former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! star and his wife announced their pregnancy news last month, with Vogue proudly showing off her baby bump during a family holiday. Alongside three photos of herself, Spencer, and their three children, the 40-year-old wrote: "BABY NUMBER 4 INCOMING." Before even adapting to life as a family of six, Spencer recently suggested a fifth child could eventually be on the cards.
He told Closer Magazine: "I like the sound of baby number five. Vogue's Irish, you see. It won't be too long before she wants a fifth, I'm sure of it. I can't wait!"
Vogue Rules Out More Children
However, his comments differ from those made by his wife, who recently ruled out expanding their family any further. The couple are already parents to Theodore, seven, Gigi, five, and Otto, four. Speaking recently on the Vogue and Amber podcast, the reality star admitted she received mixed reactions to her fourth pregnancy and also addressed the possibility of having a fifth child.
While discussing baby names sent in by listeners, one person suggested she could "save the crazy names for baby five." Replying to the comment, she said: "There is no baby number five - no, no. I can't... even people are like, 'Oh congrats', like looking at me like I'm a complete weirdo having a fourth child, they're like, 'Jesus Christ, give it a rest would you?' So no, there won't be any baby number five because I don't think I'd be up for it."
Their Relationship Journey
Vogue and Spencer first met in 2017 while filming the reality series The Jump. The following February, Spencer proposed during a performance of The Lion King musical, before the pair tied the knot at his family's Glen Affric estate in June 2018.
Dealing with Online Comments
During a recent episode of Jamie Laing's Great Company podcast, Vogue also opened up about the difficulties of reading negative comments about her marriage online. The model admitted it was especially tough while the couple were trying to conceive their fourth child.
"We had just been trying for so long and then for us to finally be at a point where we could announce it and have to deal with that," she shared. "I just don't get where it comes from."
Miscarriage Experience
The mum-of-three also revealed she suffered a miscarriage a few months before becoming pregnant with her fourth child. She added: "You just feel like your whole body has failed you and you're on your own and you keep thinking, 'Why me? Why me?' I just realised it happens to so many. The reason I spoke about it was because when it happened to me, I saw so many other women talk about it and I was like okay, it's literally every second woman."
Vogue continued: "I mean, I've had friends who have had miscarriages, and I look at that and think it must be the most difficult thing in the world. So, you just kind of have to move forward."
