Victoria Jones, the 34-year-old daughter of actor Tommy Lee Jones, has been found dead in a San Francisco hotel. She was discovered unresponsive in the early hours of New Year's Day at the Fairmont hotel.
A spokesperson for the San Francisco fire department confirmed that paramedics were called to the scene at 2.52am. After an assessment, one person was declared deceased. The local police department and medical examiner's office have taken over the investigation. According to the Daily Mail, a fellow guest alerted staff after finding Jones in a corridor.
Jones is the second child of Tommy Lee Jones and his second wife, Kimberlea Cloughley. Her brother, Austin, is 43. As a child, she acted alongside her father in films such as Men in Black II and The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, and also appeared in the TV series One Tree Hill.
In a past interview, Tommy Lee Jones praised his daughter's acting abilities, noting she had her Screen Actors Guild card and spoke Spanish. He recounted an incident during filming of The Three Burials when she refused to get out of bed for an early start, leading him to fire her. However, the production staff later woke her and got her to set on time.
