Victoria Beckham leads birthday tributes to David as eldest son stays silent

Victoria Beckham has paid a heartfelt tribute to Sir David Beckham on his 51st birthday, describing the former England footballer as the “kindest most generous soul”. In an Instagram post on Saturday, the fashion designer and former Spice Girl shared a carousel of photographs of her husband alongside a message of love and appreciation.

“You are our world, our everything. We love you so much!!! Happy birthday to the best husband, daddy, son, brother, and friend,” she wrote. “To the kindest most generous soul. We will spoil you all day!!!! Nobody deserves it more than you.” The couple, also known as Posh and Becks, have four children together: Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper.

Lady Beckham also posted a video of Sir David carrying two boxes containing chickens, which she said were birthday gifts “from the boys”. Their son Romeo shared photographs on his own Instagram story, writing “Happy birthday dad love you so much thank u for everything you do” and later calling his father “my best mate”. Cruz also marked the occasion, while Harper wrote: “Happy birthday to the best daddy in the whole world. I honestly could never ask for a better role model too.”

However, the couple’s eldest son, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, did not post a birthday message online. The silence follows his explosive statement earlier this year in which he said he did not wish to “reconcile” with his family, accusing Sir David and Lady Beckham of prioritising “Brand Beckham” and controlling press narratives.
