Victoria Beckham has trademarked her five-year-old daughter Harper's name in Britain and Europe, allowing her to bring out branded products including toys and clothing.
The fashion designer filed an application on 22 December with intellectual property authorities, registering 'Harper Beckham' for a range of goods from rag dolls to anti-wrinkle cream. It also protects the name in the entertainment industry.
Victoria and David Beckham's three other children—Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz—have also had their names registered as trademarks. Brooklyn, 18, is pursuing photography, while Romeo, 14, has modelled for Burberry, and Cruz, 12, is working on a music career.
Harper is named after Harper Lee, author of Victoria's favourite book, 'To Kill A Mockingbird'. The Beckham family business is thought to be worth hundreds of millions of pounds.
