Reality television star Vicky Pattison has confessed her dreams of gracing the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom have been shattered after BBC producers overlooked her for the upcoming series.
The former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! winner revealed she'd been eagerly anticipating the call from Strictly bosses, only to be left disappointed when the offer never materialised.
'I Was Absolutely Gutted'
'I was absolutely gutted,' Pattison admitted during a candid conversation on her podcast. 'I really thought this might be my year. I'd been psyching myself up, imagining myself in those glittery costumes, and then... nothing.'
The Geordie Shore alumna didn't hold back her disappointment, suggesting the BBC might have concerns about her party-girl reputation from earlier in her career.

Since winning I'm A Celebrity in 2015, Pattison has transformed her public image, moving away from her Geordie Shore roots to become a respected television presenter and mental health advocate.
'I've worked so hard to change people's perceptions of me,' she explained. 'I thought Strictly would be the perfect opportunity to show a different side of myself to the nation.'
