Reality TV star and Strictly Come Dancing favourite Vicky Pattison has unveiled a breathtaking new engagement ring, a lavish gift from her husband Ercan Ramadan that replaces her original £200,000 diamond stolen just weeks before their wedding.
A Sparkling Surprise After a Heartbreaking Theft
The 38-year-old media personality shared the joyful news on Instagram, posting a series of cosy festive photos with her 32-year-old former TOWIE star husband. She captioned the post, "Christmas came early in our house," revealing the romantic surprise date night at their home where she received the new jewellery.
This heartwarming gesture comes after a distressing incident last year. Vicky's original emerald-cut engagement ring was stolen from a bag while she was on a train in Newcastle. The theft left the star, by her own admission, 'distraught' and 'crying her eyes out,' especially as it occurred in the frantic run-up to her wedding celebrations in 2024.
The Dazzling Upgrade: Bigger and Brighter
Ercan Ramadan has ensured his wife's replacement ring is impossible to miss. Moving away from the original emerald cut, the new centrepiece is a large oval-cut diamond, set on a simple and elegant gold band. The impressive sparkler was clearly visible as Vicky posed happily in front of her Christmas tree.
The Instagram carousel offered a glimpse into their intimate evening, featuring snaps of the couple sharing a sweet kiss, along with a cosy living room scene complete with glasses of wine and plates of nibbles. Vicky expressed her overwhelming gratitude, writing to her husband, "This gesture has absolutely made my year!"
Reflecting on a Chaotic Wedding and a Perfect Gift
Vicky and Ercan tied the knot in a dual ceremony in 2024, with a London leg at Marylebone Town Hall followed by a larger Italian celebration in Puglia. In past interviews, Vicky has been candid about the stress of the London event, where she acted as her own wedding planner.
She recounted to heat magazine how guests approached her on the day with logistical problems, prompting her to think, "Like f**k off, I’m the bride!" Despite the chaos, she acknowledged it was a beautiful party, though she was nervous the meticulously planned Italian wedding would be similarly hectic.
The gift of the new ring seems to have beautifully closed a difficult chapter. Vicky credited Leonné Jewellery for creating "the most beautiful pieces of jewellery I’ve ever owned," and ended her emotional post by toasting her husband: "I would choose you in this life, and the next."
