Former Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison has launched a blistering defence of her happiness after a social media troll attempted to shame her past behaviour and 'dampen' her marital joy.
Fiery Clapback to 'Pick Me' Energy
The incident unfolded as the 38-year-old celebrated her seven-year anniversary with husband Ercan Ramadan, whom she married in August 2024. A user with the handle 'Kourtzyclaire' left a derogatory comment on Instagram, criticising Ercan for marrying a woman who 'made dosh from sex & being drunk' on television.
Pattison did not hesitate to respond. "Sometimes it's difficult to put your past behind you when women like this dredge it up every so often for some weird power play," she fumed in a since-deleted reply. She branded the attempt to "put another woman down" and diminish her happiness as "weak sauce."
In a signature fiery style, she concluded: "It's 2025. Do better... it's giving PICK ME energy and it isn't cute hun. Anyway, not today, satan... NOT TODAY! I hope you heal, hunny! Or stand on an upturned plug... your choice."
A Journey from Geordie Shore to Lasting Love
Vicky Pattison first found fame on the raucous MTV reality show Geordie Shore in 2011, a programme known for its heavy partying and on-camera antics. She left the show in 2014 after three years, consciously moving on to build a diverse career in television, including stints on I'm A Celebrity... and Strictly Come Dancing.
She has been open about leaving the show because the format "didn't grow," stating she wanted more from life than the repetitive cycle of getting drunk. Her personal life also saw a string of unhappy relationships before she met Ercan Ramadan in 2019.
Celebrating Seven Years of Happiness
Despite the online vitriol, Pattison's focus remains firmly on her cherished relationship. To mark their anniversary, she posted a heartfelt tribute on Instagram, detailing their first date and the instant connection they shared.
"I texted my girls group chat and said, 'Buy a hat, lasses, I'm going to marry this man!'" she recalled. The couple sealed their love with two wedding ceremonies in 2024: one in August and another in Italy the following month.
In her emotional post, she praised Ercan as her "best friend, the best husband and the best dog dad," celebrating seven years of travel, building a home, and supporting each other's dreams. Her message stands as a defiant testament to her present joy, firmly leaving her past in the rear-view mirror.
