Tess Daly has been enjoying a solo summer in New York City, sharing glimpses of her trip with daughter Phoebe, 21, on social media. The former Strictly Come Dancing host, 57, announced her separation from husband Vernon Kay last month after 22 years of marriage.
In one snapshot, Tess wore a patterned pink trouser ensemble as she stood with her look-alike daughter at night. Another photo showed her in an all-white outfit with matching bag during a daytime visit. The duo also toured the Brooklyn Bridge and NBC Studios.
Tess captioned a post: 'NYC with my best girls #HelloGorgeous' and later wrote: 'Over and out NYC.' Despite the split, the estranged couple have maintained a friendly relationship, recently spotted at Pub in the Park with friends including actor Will Mellor, and both still wearing their wedding rings.
Tess and Vernon married in 2003 and share two daughters, Phoebe and Amber, 16. Tess stepped down from hosting Strictly in 2024 after 21 years, co-hosting with Claudia Winkleman. She said: 'After 21 wonderfully, joyful years, we have decided that the time is right to step aside.'
