Vanessa Feltz is reportedly furious after her ex-boyfriend Ben Ofoedu made fresh claims about their split, allegedly attempting to shift blame onto her. The TalkTV presenter, 61, ended their 16-year relationship earlier this year after discovering Ofoedu's multiple infidelities.
Ofoedu, 51, recently denied being a serial cheat, instead suggesting the breakup was due to Feltz's refusal to marry him. A source told Closer magazine that the comments 'twisted a knife' on a still-raw wound, leaving Feltz 'extremely angry' as she felt he was 'changing the narrative' to avoid responsibility.
In February, Ofoedu admitted to three instances of cheating, including a sexual encounter in Ibiza in 2015 and sexting another fan. He claimed his actions stemmed from insecurity and alcohol. However, last week he told a different story, stating: 'I wanted to be married, but she didn't want that... She just wanted a companion.'
Despite the hurt, the source said the backtracking has validated Feltz's decision to end the relationship, confirming 'her deepest fears about Ben' and that 'he is not the person she fell in love with all those years ago.'
