Nicole Kidman has reportedly moved on with private equity businessman Michael Reinstein, months after her divorce from Keith Urban was finalised. The 59-year-old actress was seen holding hands and kissing her rumoured new partner during a recent public outing, with images showing the pair together on the Italian Riviera.
The couple were photographed sitting poolside, where Reinstein was seen lifting Kidman's hat. According to a source who spoke to New Idea, the new relationship has reopened old wounds for Urban, who reportedly had hoped for a reconciliation.

"Up until now, he still had hopes there might be a chance at a reconciliation. He's absolutely devastated and is going through that feeling of deep loss all over again. It has sent him into a tailspin, and all his friends are keeping a close eye on him. Everyone knows how upset he is, but they're not going to let this get to him," a source told New Idea.
The source went on to add that, having seen Kidman moving on, Urban is now "freed up" to consider finding love himself. "He's crushed, and the last thing he feels like is getting close to someone new, but he knows his ship with Nic has sailed," the source added.
Marriage, divorce and moving on
Urban and Kidman were married for almost two decades before they decided to split in September 2025. Kidman filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences, and the divorce was finalised on January 6. Prior to the split, the couple had been living separately.
As part of the divorce settlement, Kidman was named the primary parent to their two daughters, Sunday Rose, 18, and Faith Margaret, 15. The actress is said to maintain a close bond with both girls.
A source told the Daily Mail: "After everything she went through with Keith, she deserves to find happiness. She never thought her marriage wouldn't work out, and she tried as best as she could to keep her family intact. Her daughters are her best friends, and she seems really content in her life. She's so easy to get along with and kind. She keeps her personal life extremely private."
Sunday's Elle interview
Urban was reportedly hurt when Sunday did not mention him in an interview with Elle magazine. Sunday praised her mother as a creative inspiration and credited her with sparking her interest in modelling, recalling that Kidman used to take her to photo shoots as a child.
"My mum is someone who has always been so creative and my biggest inspiration in life. She is a key part of everything I do," Sunday told Elle.
According to sources, the omission left Urban feeling "just numb". An insider told New Idea: "Keith doesn't know what to say, but he's trying to put on a brave front. He knows he has to be patient; however, this latest snub – so publicly, there in black and white – has stumped him."
