Tyson Fury had just two words after watching rival Anthony Joshua survive two knockdowns against Kristian Prenga: 'Wow, wtf?'
Fury's social media comment
Fury posted the comment on an Instagram video shared by Turki Alalshikh, Ring Magazine chief and Zuffa boxing co-founder, which featured highlights of Joshua’s victory. Prenga stunned Joshua in the first round with a perfect uppercut, sending the two-time unified heavyweight champion to the canvas, then caught him again later in the round. Joshua recovered and knocked out Prenga in the second round with a vicious combination.
Joshua's call-out after the fight
After his win, Joshua took the microphone and asked if Fury was in the arena. 'Wait a minute – have we got Tyson Fury in the room? ... Is he here or not? Fair do’s. I'm'ma rip his heart out. I'm the meanest and vicious champion's ever been,' he said. Joshua also acknowledged Fury's achievements and thanked Alalshikh and promoter Eddie Hearn for making the fight possible.
Fury had fulfilled his part of the deal the night before, stopping Mariusz Wach in seven rounds in Pattaya, Thailand. The 46-year-old Pole quit on his stool at the end of the seventh round.
Contract status
Promoter Eddie Hearn confirmed that all contracts have been signed but no date or location has been announced. Fans hope for London but Madison Square Garden in New York has also been mentioned as a potential venue.
