Tyler Hubbard, best known as one half of country duo Florida Georgia Line, suffered a horrific head injury during a family camping and fishing trip. The singer, who has pursued a solo career since 2022, ended up with a fish hook embedded in the crown of his head.
The Painful Removal
Taking to Instagram, Hubbard jokingly wrote: "Breakfast had to wait." Photos showed the hook buried in his head. His wife Hayley attempted to pull it out while their three children watched. In a video, she asked, "Are there any tricks to this?" One of the kids reassured him, saying, "No need to worry, Mom is just going to pull it out right away."
A Relieving Outcome
After several grueling seconds, Hayley gently removed the fish hook. She shouted, "Oh, we got it!" bringing relief to the singer and his family.
Career and Reunion Hints
Hubbard's solo career includes a halftime show at the Canadian Football League final. Recently, he hinted at a possible reunion with Florida Georgia Line co-star Brian Kelley. Though they have not released new music as a duo since 2021, they remain close and performed together at the CMA festival in June.
