Trump Trolls Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce at Wedding

The White House trolled pop superstar Taylor Swift and football star Travis Kelce as the pair tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony on Friday. The couple wed at Madison Square Garden in midtown Manhattan nearly three years after first meeting. A spokesperson for Swift confirmed the nuptials, revealing the ceremony was officiated by comedy legend Adam Sandler. At approximately 7:20 p.m. ET, screens outside the venue displayed a celebratory message reading "JUST&T MARRIED!"

White House Trolls the Newlyweds

Taking to Instagram, the official White House account took a swipe at the couple with a parody of the digital billboards, posting an image that replaced their happy news with the words "Trump Is Your President." They captioned it: "It's happened!!!" This was the second time Trump had trolled the glamorous newlyweds. On Thursday, the account posted a video clip of all-American images like Iwo Jima and the Miracle on Ice, dominated by an image of Trump, beneath the caption of America's Eras Tour—a parody of Swift's poster for her 2023 concert spectacular.

Swift Breaks Tradition

Despite a plethora of famous female friends, Swift eschewed bridesmaids. Instead, her brother Austin Swift acted as her man of honor. Meanwhile, Kelce's best man was his older brother, NFL veteran Jason Kelce. Images of the eagerly anticipated wedding looks have yet to be released, but it was confirmed that Swift wore a custom haute couture gown by Jonathan Anderson of Christian Dior. Kelce also wore a haute couture look by Anderson for Dior. The event marked a first for the designer, who had never designed a couture wedding dress for a celebrity of Swift's stature before. Both the bride and groom wore Christian Louboutin shoes, and Swift donned Cartier jewelry.
