Trump Trolls Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce on Their Wedding Day
Trump Trolls Swift and Kelce on Wedding Day

Donald Trump has brutally trolled Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce immediately after they got married in New York City. The couple, both aged 36, tied the knot on Friday evening (July 3) at Madison Square Gardens, with the arena aglow with pink neon signs proclaiming 'JUST&T MARRIED!'.

Wedding Details

The wedding was confirmed by Taylor's publicist Tree Paine, who announced that the pop star had wed the NFL player. There were no bridesmaids or groomsmen at the ceremony. Instead, Taylor's brother Austin Swift took on the role of Man of Honour, while Kelce's brother Jason acted as his Best Man. The couple had kept details of the ceremony under wraps, and there was a noticeable absence of social media posts from guests once they had entered the venue.

Among the attendees were singer Camila Cabello, actors Hugh Grant, Ethan Hawke and Jason Sudeikis, and model Karlie Kloss, reports the Mirror. Immediately after the couple said 'I do', a billboard outside the venue displayed 'JUST&T MARRIED' to announce the news.

Trump's Trolling

However, shortly afterwards, the official White House page posted an image of the pink billboards currently outside the arena with the message 'Trump is your president'. Trump has not publicly commented on Taylor and Travis' wedding.

The ceremony comes less than a year after the couple announced their engagement. The pair delighted fans with the news in August 2025, sharing a series of engagement photos on Instagram with the caption, 'Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.'

Trump's Previous Comments

When quizzed about Kelce and Swift's engagement in August 2025, the President remarked: 'I think he's a great player. I think he's a great guy, and I think that she's a terrific person, so I wish them a lot of luck.' However, prior to this Trump had less flattering comments about Taylor. In 2024, when Taylor threw her support behind former Vice President Kamala Harris, Trump was far from pleased. He promptly posted on social media: 'I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!'.

Wedding Reception Speech

Meanwhile, wedding guests were floored as pal Lena Dunham delivered a jaw-dropping speech at the lavish reception. Sources said the speech was incredibly crude and raunchy, with guests split over what she said. Making references to groom Travis' American football career, the actress, who had Taylor serve as a bridesmaid at her 2021 wedding, reportedly quipped that the sport was 'just straight guys re-enacting gay porn'. These jokes were made in front of all the newlyweds' family and friends, including several NFL legends. But despite the mixed reaction from the crowd, bride Taylor reportedly found the risky joke amusing. She is said to have labelled the Emmy Award nominee a 'genius' following her speech.
