A Family on Stage
Trump was discussing his no tax on tips and no tax on overtime policies when he invited Sandra, a casino waitress, and Brad, a Las Vegas police officer, to join him. He praised the couple for saving thousands of dollars and opening 'Trump accounts' for their two children.
As the family came onstage, the older son seemed unimpressed and ran off while his mother spoke. Trump chased after him, stopping the toddler in his tracks. He then cupped his hands and shouted to the crowd, 'I don't want him to be Biden and fall off the stage.'
Biden's Past Stumbles
The comment drew laughter from the audience. While it's unclear if Trump referred to a specific incident, Biden had several notable trips during his presidency, including a stumble at the G7 summit in Japan in May 2023 and falls on Air Force One steps.
In June 2023, Biden also needed help after falling at a graduation ceremony at the Air Force Academy in Colorado.
Trump's History of Swipes
Trump has frequently criticized Biden, calling him 'the worst president in the history of the United States' and replacing his photo on the Presidential Walk of Fame with an autopen.
On stage, Sandra apologized for the disruption, blaming 'having a little mum brain going on,' and thanked Trump for helping her family. She brought her son back to the podium and said, 'Thank you for my Trump account.'
Golf Victory
Earlier in the week, Trump claimed he won two trophies at the Trump National Golf Club Bedminster with a score of 70, two under par. He announced the win on Truth Social, writing, 'I won with a score of 70, and am so honoured in that, unlike the rest of the field, I'm given very little time to practice, because I'm focused on many other things.'
