John Travolta's white three-piece suit from the 1977 film Saturday Night Fever is expected to sell for up to $400,000 (£300,000) at auction.
Entertainment memorabilia auction house Propstore will present its Summer Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction in Los Angeles from August 26 to 29.
Leading the sale is the suit worn by Travolta when he played Tony Manero. The suit, featuring a handwritten inscription from Travolta, was later owned by film critic Gene Siskel. It is estimated to sell for between $200,000 and $400,000 (£150,000–£300,000).
Other notable lots
The auction includes over 1,700 lots with a combined pre-sale estimate of $10 million (£7 million). Among them is Frank the Rabbit's costume worn by James Duval in the 2001 film Donnie Darko. Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the costume is being offered at public auction for the first time after being exhibited at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. It is estimated to sell for between $100,000 and $200,000 (£75,000–£150,000).
The screen-matched mosquito in amber fossil from Jurassic Park is also up for auction, with an estimate matching that of the Donnie Darko costume.
An original Golden Snitch from Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone is expected to sell for between $25,000 and $50,000 (£18,000–£37,000). Other items include Michael Keaton's Batsuit from Batman Returns, a stunt axe from The Shining, and Tony Stark's light-up Iron Man upper body armour from Captain America: Civil War.
