Jake's Journey Since Winning

Faithfuls Jake and Leanne won the third series of the BBC game show hosted by Claudia Winkleman last year. They walked away with a two-way split of £94,600, with project manager Jake shooting to fame in the process. The reality star, who has cerebral palsy, revealed he had the condition at the end of the series. Speaking to BBC Radio, Jake said he realised he was doing those with a disability a 'disservice' by trying to hide it.

'I know the struggles of having a disability growing up and I was very ashamed of it,' he said. 'I tried to hide it and wanted to be normal, but once I'd met fellow people with cerebral palsy and started playing football for the England cerebral palsy football team, I realised actually I'm doing a disservice here. It's something to be proud of.'

Future TV Aspirations

Jake also spoke to the Mirror earlier this year and said he was game for taking on more competition shows including Strictly Come Dancing. He said: 'I'd love to do any game show, anything that is a game or a quiz with a competitive edge. I'd be on board for, I enjoy those.' Revealing his penchant for Strictly, he added: 'Strictly Come Dancing would be great, I'd love to give that a go. I like to put myself out my comfort zone and test myself, and obviously having a disability, I'd want to show people like me at home that might have a similar disability as mine that you can dance, you can sing and it'd be great to put that to the test.'
