The Traitors star Roxy Wilson has welcomed her first child, a baby girl, sharing the happy news with her 35,000 Instagram followers on Wednesday. The 32-year-old posted an adorable snap of the newborn's feet and a photo of herself cradling the baby, writing: "The reason I’ve been quiet on here lately. No caption can do this feeling justice."
Her partner David has also been sharing updates, including a sweet video of him rubbing the baby's tiny feet.
Castmates Flood Comments with Well-Wishes
Fellow The Traitors co-stars quickly filled the comment section with congratulations. Francesca Rowan-Plowden wrote: "Congratulations," and iconic cast member Linda Rands said: "Oh Congratulations." Other comments included "Hope you’re okay mama" and "So chuffed for you."
Roxy's mother Judy, who appeared on the same season of The Traitors but kept their mother-daughter relationship secret, also commented with a few red love hearts.
Pregnancy Revealed on Live TV
It was Judy who originally announced the pregnancy. Before Roxy shared the news on social media, the expecting grandmother let slip on This Morning to hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley: "Can I just say? Roxy’s having a baby! [I’ll be grandma for the] 12th time. It’s due June 12."
Over the past few weeks, Roxy documented her pregnancy on Instagram as her due date approached. In one of her last pregnancy updates, she wrote: "Feeling every emotion on the planet, crying at least 7 times, messaging friends & family & telling my boyfriend he cannot leave the house to go to the gym when it’s only a 10 minute cycle away. Now for a short walk for, yes you guessed it, more food & probs 101 more emotional breakdowns. A day has been had and I’m here for it all."
