Former Tracy Beaker star and Strictly Come Dancing contestant Dani Harmer, 27, has given birth to a daughter. She and partner Simon Brough have named their baby Avarie-Belle Betsy Brough.
The baby was born at 5pm on Tuesday, weighing 6lb 9oz. Dani's mother, Jill Harmer, told Hello magazine: 'Mother and baby are doing well - the baby is beautiful like her mother!'
Dani previously spoke about her pregnancy, saying she and Simon were 'over the moon' when they found out they were expecting. She said: 'I still wake up every morning and go, 'I'm pregnant.' It was amazing seeing the scan. I find the whole thing absolutely fascinating.'
Since her role in Tracy Beaker, Dani has appeared on Strictly Come Dancing, finishing in fourth place with partner Vincent Simone. She also recorded a debut album in 2009, which was never released, and had a leading role in the stage show Disco Inferno, which went bust in 2012.
