The restaurant of former TOWIE star Elliott Wright has been targeted by vandals, just days after a member of his security team was killed. The front of Olivia's La Cala in Malaga, Spain, was spray-painted with red slurs including 'Mafia' and 'Asesino Elliott' (Spanish for 'Killer Elliott').
The incident follows the death of doorman Jose Rafael Pisani Pardo, who died in intensive care on Sunday after an altercation. Wright, 43, said his 'heart was broken' over the loss of his staff member and friend. A man has been arrested in Malaga on suspicion of manslaughter, according to a Civil Guard spokesperson.
Reports indicate that Jose hit his head as he intervened in a fight. While initial claims suggested he struck a table, sources now say he hit the back of his head on the floor after being pushed or punched while trying to eject a customer. The ambulance took up to an hour to arrive, and Jose was declared brain dead due to lack of oxygen before his life support was switched off.
The restaurant remains closed. It is unclear whether Wright has reported the vandalism to police. Local authorities have taken CCTV footage and statements from staff.
