Tori Spelling has cancelled her appearance at a Las Vegas event this weekend, citing the need to prioritise her health. The 52-year-old actor took to Instagram on Friday to announce the postponement of her '90s After Dark Party', which was scheduled for Sunday night at the Voltaire at The Venetian Resort.
In a statement, Spelling expressed her disappointment, saying she had been 'counting down the days' to reunite with fans and co-host Brian Austin Green, her former 90210 co-star. 'Right now, I have to listen to my body and put my health first,' she wrote, without specifying the nature of her illness. She assured followers that a new date for the event would be announced soon.
The party was to feature a DJ playing 90s hits and a performance by 90210 alumni and R&B group Color Me Badd. Spelling and Green, who played on-again, off-again couple Donna Martin and David Silver on the show, were set to co-host the evening.
Spelling has previously spoken about her health struggles, including living with eczema. In a recent interview with Women’s Health, she described flare-ups on her arms that led to bleeding and forced her to change wardrobe while filming. She also told People magazine that her 17-year-old daughter Stella was homeschooled after being bullied for having the same skin condition.
Fans have responded with support, and Spelling thanked them for their understanding as she focuses on recovery.
