Tommy Paul's fiancée, Paige Lorenze, is notably absent from Wimbledon this year, choosing to celebrate her bachelorette party rather than attend the tournament. The 28-year-old influencer and entrepreneur, who boasts over 1 million Instagram followers, has been posting racy images from her hen-do, leaving little to the imagination.
Paul Confirms Fiancée's Absence
When asked about Lorenze's whereabouts, Paul told the Tennis Channel: "She's in full wedding prep. She's actually having her bachelorette trip right now, so she's enjoying life, maybe a little bit more than me." He added that even if he reaches the semi-finals or final, she likely won't alter her plans, saying, "I don't know, we'll cross that bridge when we get there. Maybe. I don't think so, though."
Lorenze's Controversial Past at Queen's
Two years ago, after Paul's victory at the pre-Wimbledon Queen's Club tournament, Lorenze dashed onto the court for the trophy presentation, sparking criticism. Social media users labeled her actions "cringe" and "awkward," accusing her of hijacking Paul's achievement. She later mocked the backlash.
Hen-Do Revelry
Lorenze has been sharing snaps from her bachelorette party, featuring wedding-themed outfits and alcohol. One particularly daring outfit drew attention. The party even brandished a mask of Paul's face. A collection of alcohol-fuelled snaps is captioned: "Mom, I don't feel good."
Paul's Wimbledon Progress
Despite the distraction, Paul, the 21st seed, has advanced to the third round with straight-sets victories over Alexandre Muller and Soonwoo Kwon. He faces Polish player Hubert Hurkacz on Friday. Defending champion Jannik Sinner also reached the third round after a challenging start, beating Nuno Borges 7-6 (4), 7-6 (2), 6-4. Sinner's next opponent is Jenson Brooksby. Third seed Felix Auger-Aliassime unleashed 15 aces to defeat Dino Prizmic, reaching the third round for the first time since 2021. Daniil Medvedev overcame Daniel Merida in four sets and could face Paul or Hurkacz next.
