Tommy Fury shares sweet sibling moment as Molly-Mae marks milestone

Tommy Fury has shared a heartwarming exchange between his daughter Bambi and baby son Midas on social media as partner Molly-Mae Hague marked a major family milestone. The boxer posted a video on Instagram showing Bambi gently kissing Midas on the forehead and tapping his nose, while the newborn cooed happily.

Family milestone celebrated

On Saturday, June 28, Molly-Mae took to Instagram with new pictures of baby Midas to celebrate four weeks since his birth. The couple became parents for the second time earlier in June, three years after the birth of their first child, daughter Bambi. They confirmed the safe arrival in a joint Instagram post on June 3, captioned: "....and then there were 4," alongside a white love heart emoji.

The photos showed Tommy holding Midas with a huge smile while Bambi sat on his leg, looking delighted in her big sister role. Another picture captured Midas wrapped in a white blanket outside the family home, and a final image showed Molly-Mae holding her newborn in a hospital bed. Molly-Mae wrote: "One month as a crazy family of four," and on another picture: "4 weeks of you."

Sweet sibling moment

Tommy shared a separate video of him and Bambi approaching a resting Midas. Bambi held onto her dad with one hand as she leaned in to see her baby brother. She gave him a little kiss on his forehead before tapping him on the nose, and Midas responded with baby cooing noises. Bambi then cupped his cheeks and gave him another kiss. Tommy captioned the video with a globe emoji, indicating his children are his world.

It wasn't until Tommy returned to the boxing ring to face Eddie Hall that they revealed their son's name. Before beating the former world's strongest man, Tommy walked out with Midas spelt on the back of his shirt and boxing shorts.

Meaning behind Midas' name

Previously sharing the meaning behind Midas' name, Molly-Mae said in a YouTube video: "We have named our son Midas. His middle name is Thomas and his surname is Fury. So he's Midas Thomas Fury. We had this name for a boy for quite a few years." She explained that the name originates from Greek mythology, where King Midas turned everything he touched to gold, and added: "I do absolutely just love that saying."

She continued: "I actually found the name from watching a film called Real Steel. It's a film about robots boxing... And one of the robots in the film that was boxing was called Midas. I heard the name and I thought, 'Wow, that's a really cool strong name!' Midas Fury, I thought, 'Wow, what a strong name,' and then I mentioned it to Tommy, and he just absolutely fell in love with it."
