Tom Holland throws up during Hot Ones challenge, vows never again
Tom Holland throws up during Hot Ones challenge

Spider-Man star Tom Holland threw up while eating spicy chicken on the hit YouTube talk show Hot Ones, and has vowed never to do it again after filming the show twice.

The Londoner recently filmed a second episode of the acclaimed show, where celebrities are interviewed over a platter of 10 increasingly spicy chicken wings. But Tom's super powers couldn't save him.

Tom Holland reveals vomiting incident

He told Dish from Waitrose: "I did Hot Ones the other day. It was horrendous. And I think I might be the first person...I threw up in the interview. Because I'd been nailing so much milk. I just started laughing. And...I look like a baby. You know when a baby just has like pure milk that comes out? It was literally like that. Horrendous."

However, he wasn't precious about the experience and said: "I told them to keep that in though. Please make that the thumbnail."

Not his first time

That wasn't Tom's first rodeo: "It's way worse than you think. I've done it twice now, and last time I did it, I was like, 'I'm never doing that again'. And then I did it again, and I'm never doing that again."

Co-star Jon Bernthal also suffered

Tom's favourite part about the experience was doing it with co-star Jon Bernthal, who plays Punisher in the Marvel films. "He's a very good friend of mine," said Tom. "Absolutely love him to bits. He is on Broadway right now doing his show. So, he finished that and then went and did a full Broadway show for 3 hours. It is like a super, super demanding show. And you know what happens when you eat spicy food? Imagine standing on stage in front of thousands of people. We were texting in his half, and he was, um, he was feeling it. The audience would have been like, wow, this is so intense. Sweating like you can't believe. He's really just trying to not s*** himself."
