Tom Holland has been injured on the set of the upcoming film Spider-Man: Brand New Day, reportedly suffering a mild concussion while performing a stunt. The incident occurred on Friday at Leavesden Studios in Watford, UK.
Several Hollywood trade publications, including The Hollywood Reporter, Deadline and Variety, confirmed the accident. Holland, 29, hit his head during the stunt and was taken to hospital as a precaution. No one else was injured, according to Variety.
The Sun reported that Holland attended a charity dinner the following evening with his father Dominic and fiancée Zendaya, but left early after feeling unwell. Filming was suspended on Friday, and Holland will take a break for several days.
Sony Pictures, which is co-producing the film with Marvel Studios, is set to meet on Monday to decide how to proceed with production. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled for release in July 2026 and marks Holland's fourth solo outing as the web-slinger.
The film will see the return of Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Mark Ruffalo, Jon Bernthal and Michael Mando. New cast members include Liza Colón-Zayas, Tramell Tillman and Sadie Sink.
