Timothée Chalamet has teamed up with Liverpool rapper EsDeeKid on a new track, '4 Raws Remix', fuelling speculation that the actor is secretly the masked musician. The collaboration, released with a music video, directly nods to the viral rumours that have circulated online in recent weeks.
In the video, Chalamet raps with his face partially covered by a bandana, which he pulls down during his verse. He references his upcoming film 'Marty Supreme' and makes a vague mention of his girlfriend Kylie Jenner. EsDeeKid, whose face remains shrouded around the eyes, appears alongside Chalamet in a kitchen and the back of a limo.
Chalamet, a known rap enthusiast, addresses the alter ego speculation directly in the lyrics: 'It's Timothée Chalamet chillin', tryin' to stack $100 million / Girl got a billion / What the fuck, what a wonderful feeling.' He also raps about his life being 'an opera' and mentions the Oscars and groupies.
When asked on 'Heart Breakfast' if he is EsDeeKid, Chalamet replied, 'I got no comment on that. Two words: All will be revealed in due time.' The track does not confirm or deny the identity of EsDeeKid, leaving fans to continue speculating.
