A man who claims to be a time traveller from the year 6000 has shared a distorted photo of a future city, delivering what he describes as awful news for humanity.
Secret Meeting and Claims
In a bizarre video, the self-styled time traveller, his face hidden and voice distorted, meets with a reporter at a secret location. He claims to have been involved in a secret project during the 1990s that sent people into the future.
He says breakthroughs in medicine, governance, and novel technology will make current life seem 'primitive', and that mankind coexists peacefully under a benevolent AI ruler.
Distorted Photo
To back up his claims, he presents a blurred photograph of an unnamed city, explaining: 'In the time travel process, pictures tend to get distorted, as well as many other things.'
He adds: 'It is not my intention to deceive anybody. I simply want to spread a message about the future of humanity and where the world is heading.'
Emotional Revelation
The supposed time traveller becomes emotional as he reveals he abandoned a friend who cannot return. He says: 'I know he's in a good place. In a way the future is like a utopia but sadly when we attempted to travel back we couldn't. I just wanted to see him one more time.'
He also claims that new technology will allow people to shrink themselves to solve accommodation problems, and insists time travel will become widespread knowledge by 2028.
