Thomas Skinner Admits to Two-Week Fling Ahead of Strictly Debut

Thomas Skinner, the former Apprentice star turned Strictly Come Dancing contestant, has confessed to a two-week fling with a beauty clinic boss shortly after marrying his wife Sinead in May 2022. The 34-year-old described the affair as the 'biggest mistake' of his life.

Skinner revealed the infidelity to Sinead, who was 'distraught and upset' but has since forgiven him. He told The Sun on Sunday: 'I'm so lucky she forgave me. It was the worst thing I've ever had to do.' The fling was with Amy-Lucy O'Rourke, whom he met at a pub and who offered him cosmetic slimming treatments.

A spokesperson for Amy-Lucy O'Rourke disputed Skinner's account, stating: 'She did not have a fling with Mr Skinner, she had a relationship with him and was deceived then treated appallingly.'

Skinner and Sinead met in a London bar in 2018, got engaged in July 2020, and married in May 2022 at Hutton Hall in Brentwood, Essex. They have three children: son Henry, born in 2020, and twins Roma and Darla, born in June 2023.

Skinner's revelation comes just a week before he takes to the dancefloor on the new series of Strictly Come Dancing. His casting has already sparked controversy due to his divisive opinions and a recent incident where he snatched a reporter's phone during an interview.
