Theroux and Bloom's First Red Carpet After Welcoming Son

Justin Theroux and his wife Nicole Brydon Bloom stepped out for their first red carpet appearance together just days after welcoming their first child. The couple attended the premiere of The Devil Wears Prada 2 in New York City on Monday, looking deeply affectionate as they posed arm in arm at the star-studded event.

A Stylish Debut as New Parents

Theroux, aged 54, cut a sharp figure in a sophisticated dark gray suit, paired with a crisp white button-down shirt. He opted for a gold chain instead of a traditional tie, adding a modern touch to his ensemble. Later, he donned a pair of red-tinted sunglasses, injecting a playful element into his look as they moved through the venue and continued taking photographs.

Bloom, 32, complemented her husband's style with a chic black halter dress made from a flowing, slinky fabric. She wore her long brunette hair straight with a middle part, accessorising with gold dangling earrings and a matching statement ring to complete her elegant appearance.

Embracing Fatherhood with Joy

At the premiere, Theroux opened up about the experience of becoming a father for the first time with Bloom, who is known for her role in Paradise. Speaking to People, he shared that the most thrilling aspect of parenthood is "being able to pour all the love that I have into my son."

The couple had announced the arrival of their newborn baby boy just two days prior, on Saturday, April 18, through a joint Instagram post. They shared a poignant black-and-white close-up photo showing their son sleeping peacefully on Theroux's chest, accompanied by the caption: "He's here. We are so in love," along with a white dove emoji.

From Romance to Family Life

Theroux and Bloom first sparked romance rumours in early 2023, became engaged in August 2024, and tied the knot in Mexico in March 2025. They revealed they were expecting their first child together in December 2025, with Bloom recounting the moment she told Theroux about the pregnancy during an appearance on Today.

She described telling him over breakfast, saying she "kind of did the classic thing you see in movies." When Theroux reacted with surprise, asking "How?" Bloom humorously replied, "Well, I can walk you through it. It was a team effort." She added that while the pregnancy wasn't entirely planned, they were excited to start a family together.

This red carpet appearance marks a significant milestone for the couple, showcasing their happiness as they navigate new parenthood while continuing their careers in the entertainment industry.
