Teyana Taylor confirms she was the one behind Leonardo DiCaprio's viral Golden Globes moment

Teyana Taylor has confirmed that she was the person Leonardo DiCaprio was animatedly speaking to during a viral off-air moment at the Golden Globes. The clip, which circulated online after Sunday's ceremony, showed DiCaprio gesturing excitedly and appearing to discuss K-pop.

Initially, it was suspected that DiCaprio was chatting with his 'One Battle After Another' co-star Chase Infiniti, but Taylor, 35, set the record straight in an interview with Access Hollywood on Tuesday. 'He's talking to me, yes,' she said, adding that the night was a blur.

Taylor, who won her first Golden Globe for her supporting role in the film, recalled being thrilled when 'KPop Demon Hunters' won Best Animated Film. 'My kids love KPop Demon Hunters,' she explained. 'I was over there just jamming and I think he caught me jamming and that's when we started talking about it.'

In the clip, DiCaprio can be seen saying, 'I was watching you with the K-pop thing,' and playfully mimicking her excitement. Taylor admitted she couldn't remember exactly what he said, joking, 'I probably was just laughing and keekeeing back and had no clue what he was saying.'

The moment has delighted fans, who praised it for revealing DiCaprio's 'real personality' away from his usual composed public image. DiCaprio, 51, attended the ceremony with his 'One Battle After Another' co-stars and crew, though he lost the Best Male Actor category to Timothée Chalamet.
