Tess Daly has offered fans a look into her home life during the recent record-breaking temperatures, as Vernon Kay continues to publicly support her following their amicable separation. The former Strictly Come Dancing host took to social media to share images of how she spent the hot spell, including posing in one of her trademark looks while working on an undisclosed project, tucking into an ice cream in the garden, and caring for the couple's dogs.

“We’ve all been feeling the heat this weekend,” Daly captioned the post, which featured multiple candid snapshots. The photos come weeks after Daly and Kay announced the end of their 22-year marriage in May, ahead of their 23rd anniversary in September.
Continued Friendship
Despite the split, the pair have shown they remain close friends. Last week, Kay supported Daly’s swimwear brand Naia Beach as she headed to Greece for a campaign shoot. He also joined Daly and Gayle at John Lewis’ headquarters to showcase their latest range. A photo shared on Naia Beach’s Instagram Story showed the trio, with the caption: “We even had a little visitor... And he even wanted to pick his favourite NAIA piece - and it wasn't the men's swim shorts.”
Kay, a BBC Radio 2 star, even participated in a tongue-in-cheek video picking out his favorite piece, which Daly reshared with crying-laughing emojis. The couple, who met in 2001 at a BBC Christmas party and married in 2003 in Horwich, Bolton, have two daughters, Phoebe and Amber. Their joint statement confirmed their decision to separate amicably, emphasizing their commitment to co-parenting.
