A teenage musician is still processing the incredible moment he shared the stage with his idol, Myles Smith, at a Liverpool concert. Harry Huxley, 17, attended the intimate show at the Jacaranda Baltic on Friday, June 12, with his mother and younger brother, hoping for a chance to perform with the singer.
Harry, a student at LIPA Sixth Form College, considers Myles Smith his biggest inspiration. He brought a sign asking to play 'Stargazing' with him during the set. To his amazement, Myles spotted the sign during the Q&A and invited Harry on stage.
Harry described the experience as the best of his life, saying it still hasn't fully sunk in. He recalled being nervous but gained confidence from the crowd's reaction. Myles was visibly impressed when Harry hit the high note, giving him a huge confidence boost.
Harry's mother, Hannah, watched from the crowd, initially feeling sick with worry but later crying with pride as her son performed. She made her way to the front to capture the moment.
After the show, Myles signed Harry's guitar and they exchanged guitar picks. Harry expressed his gratitude, telling Myles how much he inspired him. The experience has emboldened Harry to continue pursuing his music career, having already released a debut single and supported Billy Lockett in Manchester.
