Taylor Swift's friendship with Blake Lively has reportedly ended after the singer excluded the actress from her wedding guest list, according to multiple sources. Swift married Travis Kelce in a star-studded ceremony at New York's Madison Square Garden on Friday, but Lively was notably absent.
Friendship Breakdown
Lively, 38, was once a close member of Swift's 'Girl Squad' and even named Swift godmother to her three daughters with husband Ryan Reynolds. However, their bond unraveled after Swift was dragged into Lively's legal dispute with actor Justin Baldoni.
Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment during the filming of It Ends With Us. In court filings, Lively referred to Swift as one of her 'dragons' in texts intended to intimidate Baldoni, with one message reading: 'I'm Khaleesi and like her, I happen to have dragons.' Swift was initially listed as a potential witness but was dropped when the case was settled out of court.
Wedding Snub
A source told Page Six that 'as far as Taylor is concerned, their friendship is done.' The source added: 'Taylor's in a different place now and she just wants to be around people she trusts and who bring her peace. It's a shame because she and Blake really were close, but she doesn't think it’s something that's going to be fixed.'
Lively was reportedly 'hurt' by the snub, watching her daughter's horse show instead. Meanwhile, other friends like Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, and Karlie Kloss attended. A source told the Daily Mail that Lively was 'sad' and 'p***ed,' having hoped their history would secure an invite. 'Madison Square Garden holds more than 20,000 people. If Blake isn't there, nobody can blame a lack of space,' the source said.
Irreparable Damage
The source concluded: 'That friendship was over before - but if there was hope, it's gone. They'll never be friends again.' The Mirror has reached out to representatives for comment.
