Taylor Swift Wedding: Kelce’s Friends ‘Seethe’ Over Invite Snub

As the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce inches closer, some are feeling snubbed after further details are revealed. The huge event is set to take place at Madison Square Garden this weekend with a guest list of around 1,000.

Forget the July 4 celebrations happening across the country, this is the party everyone really wants to be at – including, it would seem, all of Travis Kelce’s squad. The invitations, it appears, have proved political among the Kansas City Chiefs lot.

Invite Hierarchy Sparks Tension

According to a source who spoke to the Daily Mail, everyone on the team received a ‘general invite’. However: ‘It doesn’t extend to some of the front office people, so there’s some feelings there. And also, not everyone on the team has the same invite. A few who he’s closer to have more info and it sounds like there’s something smaller that they get to go to.’

The publication reported that some of those not in attendance at the smaller gathering were left ‘seething’.

Rehearsal Dinner Draws Celebrities

Yesterday, the Big Apple was swarming with celebrities, with some attending what is being referred to as the couple’s rehearsal dinner. Aaron and André Eanes, the twins who build Kelce’s brand, were in attendance of said evening do, as well as former NFL tight end Ross Travis and wife of longtime friend Reggie King, Sarah Blackburn King.

Ross donned a stylish black beret with shades and a brown suit. Walking closely behind, Sarah was wearing a beige body con dress and carrying a gold handbag. George Kittle, one of Travis’s NFL besties and San Francisco 49er, was also spotted in the city with his wife Claire. He was sporting some Spider-Man themed Nike Air Jordan 1 trainers, while she looked glamorous in a black dress with a lace trim and heeled flip-flops.

Also looking stunning on the streets of the city were couple Erin Andrews and husband Jarret Stoll. Fox Sports reporter Erin played cupid on her podcast months before the soon-to-be-wedded couple went public, urging Taylor to ‘please try our friend Travis’.

Guest Hierarchy Extends to Accommodation

The guest hierarchy looks not only to affect which event you’re invited to, but also which hotel you’re staying in. As per the Daily Mail, some are reportedly at the modest Marriott Marquis in Times Square, while others are at a markedly more up-market establishment.

Metro has reached out to representatives for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce for comment.
